pat on the back

I have access to a free large three layer bar cake about once every ten days. Being the wimp that I am in giving in to my every craving, I always accomodate myself. I immediately put it in the freezer to keep from eating it up in two days, the norm for me. I did look at it every time I passed the frig. It's been one week and I have a chance to take it with me as a dessert when I go somewhere tonight. I am so jazzed that I made it this long and overcame the temptation! I will have one piece at the function only. I get a pat on the back from me, which can go a long way like a shove in the right direction.

FoxNews takes credibility hit after disclosure on anti-ODF commentary
Some how, I missed it when it was first published two weeks ago ... By their very nature, just about any commentary that takes an anti-ODF position is inherently pro-Microsoft since it's file formats are pretty much the only alternative.

Hey,

I understand how you feel. I am a chocoholic and I can't pass up good chocolate. Although I don't have a weight problem I do understand how you feel. I used to be a little overweight (only 15 pounds) and constantly dieted. Which usually lasted only a week or less. I just couldn't stand being deprived.

I guess I just finally decided I wasn't going to take it anymore and decided to change my way of thinking about food. So I didn't go on a diet. I just changed the way I ate, the way I cooked and I lost 15 pounds and haven't gained it back in over 15 years.

I mentioned my online chocolate store last time I posted here. I don't eat a lot of it, but it is expensive so I can't afford to buy it too often, therefore I don't eat so much that I gain weight.

I also have a healthy cooking website. I started this store because I wanted others to enjoy the benefits of healthy cooking and eating habits. I encourage everyone to go to one of those home shows or in house demonstrations to see this cookware in action. Then when you see how much they charge, come back to my store and but it for pennies on the dollar.

It was nice visiting your blog again and give yourself a pat on the back for resisting temptation.
You can have your cake and eat it too, as long as you don't eat too much at one time.
